You Could Book A Monster
When you look at Tyrus, he looks intense. With the tattoos, the size and the strength, Tyrus is a specimen to look at and looks naturally tough. As his background as a security guard for some of the top rap artists, he has the believability that he can beat up anyone. He took on Jeff Hardy on Impact and controlled much of the match until he got disqualified. He tried to hit the spike, but Hardy countered with a Twist of Fate and stood tall.
If TNA booked him right, he could be an excellent heel. The only problem is that his star is not as bright being the bodyguard. It worked for Nash and Batista back in the day, but Tyrus seems to be stuck in this spot. I have seen him wrestle some good matches. He will never be the bell to bell technician like AJ Styles or Daniel Bryan, but he certainly deserves a shot in the main event. His look, his work ethic and his ability on the mic is just too good to pass up. I hope he gets an opportunity in the 2016 calendar year.
Gail Kim Retains
Kim and Kong battle it out again for the Knockouts Championship. Gail Kim hits some quick kicks and then Awesome Kong gets upset and takes over. She tries for a running splash, but gets caught into a submission hold. Kong battles out, hits a clothesline and then Gail hits a Tornado DDT for two. Jade distracts Gail and Gail lays out the Dollhouse with a crossbody to the outside. She tries to knock down Kong, but She slams her down again. The Beautiful People come out and attack The Dollhouse. Gail counters a move and hits Kong with an Eat Defeat for the win.
Gail and Kong put on a good championship match with some nice spots. Whether it was Gail Kim hitting a crossbody or Kong continuing her power and dominance, they meshed well together. Sometimes, it is hard to book a match with the size difference, but they added nice pieces to it on the outside to make it believable. That is the hardest thing sometimes. Kim SHOULD be champion, but Kong WILL be champion sooner or later. If they want to go all in with her in The Dollhouse, they need to have the title on her shoulder.
