Human Highlight Reel
Kevin Owens took on Neville for the second consecutive week. Right off the bat, Neville opened with three high-flying moves to the outside, really setting the pace of the match. Owens fought back with a high-risk DDT and a two count. He threw Neville to the outside and Neville hit a flip from the apron onto the floor. The former IC Champion battled back and was able to hit the pop-up powerbomb for the win. The match lasted through a commercial break and was really developed well from beginning to end. Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens battled after with Ambrose putting him through a table.
I am really getting behind this feud. They are making this feel legit and giving freedom to Ambrose to be an actual “Lunatic” while Owens continues to become the “Prize Fighter.” They actually have very similar characteristics in the ring and outside of it, but the small change of heel vs. face is all it needs for fans to back Dean. Is Ambrose ever booed by the crowd? That is why this is a great pairing for a cool heel like Kevin Owens. Well done.
Titus O’Neil defeated Stardust
In a decent match, Titus and Stardust did battle. Yes, they have been feuding for a while even if it has not been shown weekly on Raw. Stardust hit a Disaster kick, but the big man hit multiple clothesline and a big boot. He sends Stardust into the corner and hits Clash of the Titus for the victory.
Can anyone else see Titus getting a big singles push in 2016? Maybe not a main event caliber guy, but I can see him battling for the United States Championship in the middle of the calendar year. He has the look, the excellent size and skill set and does all the right things for the company in a PR way. Reward this man!
