Say what you want, but this match was great! With the small involvement of Tyrus to some new moves like a sitdown TKO from Carter, both men really gave it their all. What is there to say? We all knew months ago that EC3 and Matt Hardy were going to face one another again for the title. Yes, it is predictable. Yes, it makes sense. Sometimes you have to focus on logic and focus on the greater good over “surprises” or “chances.” TNA put themselves in a tough situation with so many matches taped before the new year. They had to come up with something and it actually paid off with some compelling matches. It also gave otherwise meaningless matches some level of importance. Next time, let’s not put like 40 competitors in so many different brackets.
