Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Change Dolph Ziggler NOW”

Lumberjack Match

wwe rawSeth Rollins and Kane main evented WWE Raw in a Lumberjack Match. With the ring surrounded by many superstars, you had the classic heels versus faces outside of the ring. When all hell broke loose, Rollins was distracted enough for Kane (in his Demon outfit) to pick up the win with the Tombstone.

The entire night was booked around Kane and Seth Rollins, with The Authority out of the arena and Kane in charge. Once again, it shows you the versatility of Kane while unfortunately focusing on how WWE has lacked major development with monster heels in the company. I get it, you want to end the feud with Rollins and Kane. You are going to invest time and effort into these guys for a month.

When has ANYONE paid money to see Kane without his mask on? When has anyone really wanted to see Corporate Kane? And, how is this helping the youngerSeth Rollins solidify himself as “The Man?” These are glaring questions that cannot be answered.

 Nikki Bella vs. Naomi

Divas action featuring two very different styles in the ring are showcased. I will say that Naomi is very underrated in the ring. During the match, she was able to connect with some nice dropkicks and even hit a crossbody to the outside which took out Team Bella. When Brie distracted her by chanting for Sasha, Nikki was able to hit Rack Attack for the win.

This is smart. Try to break up the groups one at a time. There only needs to be on group of heel women and they MUST be Nikki, Brie and Alicia. They have a natural heel quality and the fans connect them, even if it is quiet, with getting to the top by who they have been with. Smart and really entertaining segment here with potential to push Sasha into the main event picture in the Divas Division.

Brie Bella and Alicia Fox defeated Becky Lynch and Charlotte

In a confusion ending to a match, Charlotte gets distracted and Brie hits a missile dropkick for the win.

Yes, Charlotte loses by a missile dropkick by her rivals sister. I am not really sure what to say or make of this because it makes no sense for the champion to lose to someone who she is not facing in two weeks. I can understand a champion losing and the momentum to who she will fight, but Charlotte was seemingly used more tonight as a “supporting Diva” instead of being the champion.
