The Rising defeated The Beat Down Clan
Kenny King works Eli and Low Ki gets involved in the action. Eli tags in Drew and he explodes with some punches. Drew throws him into the corner and connects with a dropkick.
Kenny King breaks up the pin and a brawl ensues. MVP rings up Drew on the ropes and Ki goes for Warrior’s Way. He is able to reverse it and hit a belly to belly suplex. He follows up with a Doomsday Device like move, with the help of Mika. The Rising pick up the win.
I wish this match would be saved for a bigger stage. The Rising, with Drew is a crowd favorite. They seem real and very simple characters which is what they need right now. There are so many personalities in TNA, but Drew is different. You feel like he is simply being himself and caring about what he does. MVP is always going to be a great heel and led his team well tonight. As for the other pieces, they can be interchangeable at times. Low Ki and King are better than Mika and Eli, but that is just because they have had much more years of experience in many level of pro wrestling.
Another Great Tag Team Match
The Dirty Heels play up to their name on Impact tonight. To win this match, they low blow Eddie and pick up the win. We can go over how good the match was, but when you see both of these teams involved in a match you know it will be good. The series is at 2-1 in favor of The Wolves.
Austin Aries and Bobby Roode NEED the titles. The Wolves will always be one of the most talented and explosive teams on the roster, but they are usually better as champions. Yes, they are better as champions and need to improve on the chase aspect of their characters.
By being the barometer of success in TNA, they always seem to be untouchable. There comes a time and a place where they need to overcome adversity and not just an injury. Tease a split, but have them come together and succeed like they always do.
