Tag Team Chamber
We have a Tag Team Championship match, but it gets interrupted by other tag teams who will be involved in the chamber match in less than two weeks. We see Lucha Dragons, The Ascension, Los Matadores and Prime Time Players get involved with Cesaro/Kidd and The New Day. Prime Time Players end up getting the upper hand and stand tall.
The more I wanted Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, the more I wanted them to have more time before they appear and capture the titles. Yes, it has been a while since they have been together. Yes, they chased it with Jimmy and Jey last year and never got it. If you add them, they HAVE to win. I do not know if WWE wants to put it on them less than 3 weeks back together. Maybe there is something bigger in store for them. Prime Time Players would be fitting. I just can’t see The New Day losing it that quickly, especially since they are the hottest heels going in the division.
Either way, this should be chaotic and fun. I see Los Matadores and Lucha Dragons eliminated early. Let’s hear what you have to say, in the comment section below.
Kevin Owens Powerbombs John Cena
What better way to make an impact on Raw than to go toe to toe with John Cena? Kevin Owens comes out and cuts a promo about NXT. He talks about being a veteran and disrespects John Cena and the US Title.
He says John Cena does not have him figured out. He kicks him and hits a Powerbomb. Owens stands tall and Cena is laying on the mat.
Excellent promo and a really confident promo from a guy who is just natural on the mic. Kevin Owens gave NXT a big promo and a spotlight brighter than most can. I love the fact that Cena took a backseat for the greater cause. There was no need for ANOTHER US title match. Give John Cena a day off and this was just enough exposure of Kevin Owens. All that John Cena has done is put young guys on the map. We know wins and losses do not mean much for these guys right now.
Dolph and Lana?
Dolph Ziggler picks up a win in under 3 minutes over Stardust. Not much to note here besides Dolph getting back on track. Michael Cole asks Dolph Ziggler how he is feeling. He tells Ziggler will be included in the IC title match.
Out comes Lana, while she smiles at Dolph. She slowly kisses Dolph and the crowd loves it. She kisses him again and Rusev comes out to the ring. Rusev crushes Dolph Ziggler and looks at Lana. She slaps him in the face and Dolph hits Zig Zag.
Very, very interesting. This leaves the door open for so much regarding Lana. She goes from Rusev to Dolph? I did NOT see this coming whatsoever. I like it, but don’t be afraid if Lana goes back to Rusev and gets him the IC title.
