Ryback Defeated Seth Rollins
Ryback tosses Rollins across the ring and slams him into the corner. He charges the corner but Rollins slams him shoulder first into the ringpost. He is able to hit his head into the apron before he gets back into the ring. Seth Rollins slams him into the steps as we go to a break.
Back from break and Rollins reverses Ryback’s powerbomb attempt with an enziguiri. Seth Rollins continues the attack with a powerbomb into the corner. Ryback reverses Rollins and ducks Jamie Noble’s distraction with a meat hook clothesline. He sets up Shell Shock, but Kane comes out to cause the DQ. Kane hits Ryback numerous times with a chair and then a chokeslam onto the chair.
Ryback vs. Kane in a Chairs Match will take place at WWE TLC. This could be a good thing for Ryback. I cannot see him losing to Kane at the event. What would be the point of the resurgence of Ryback if he loses at another Pay-Per-View. Ryback has gotten much better in the ring since his return. He seems a bit smoother and more cautious of his opponents’ health. He is always going to be a strong and powerful wrestler, but that does not mean he has to be unsafe.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Luke Harper
Dolph hits a quick crossbody, but Luke Harper throws Dolph in the corner. Ziggler counters with a neckbreaker and some elbow drops. He is able to hit a DDT and gets a two count. Harper ducks Dolph and hits a side slam. Luke Harper hits Dolph with a big clothesline and a boot to follow. Dolph gets taken down with a massive powerbomb.
Harper throws him to the outside and then whips Dolph at the ring apron but Dolph stops himself and superkicks Harper, then Dolph rolls in and beats the count.
Ziggler ends WWE Smackdown winning, but not winning the championship. This tells me a lot about what WWE thinks of Dolph Ziggler. He is main eventing Smackdown for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Hopefully we are going to get more meaningful feuds and matches with this title on the line. I like this feud, early in its stages. I just need to get something more than Ziggler just losing the title. After the biggest win of his career, one that involved Sting’s debut, now is the time to make Dolph the biggest possible star in the company. He has THAT star power right now.
