SummerSlam Rematch Headlines Raw

Randy Orton and Roman Reigns start to brawl. We head to a break and come back with Orton in full control. Orton clotheslines Reigns and then sends him to the outside. Randy Orton begins to punch away and then heads up top with Reigns. Orton hits a superplex for a two count. Orton applies a headlock and Reigns fights back. Orton punches Reigns over and over in the head and then locks in a headlock in the middle of the ring.

Reigns and Orton exchange punhces. Reigns counters with a side suplex. Roman Reigns hits a Samoan Drop. Orton counters with a powerslam. Reigns unloads with his big boot and Orton is down. Roman explodes with another clothesline for a two count. Orton counters in the corner with a beautiful reversal into a pin. Orton hits a back breaker for another two count. Reigns heads to the middle rope and jumps off, only to fall into another beautiful powerslam. After a DDT, Orton sets up an RKO. Roman Reigns ducks and hits a Superman Punch.

Orton calls out Kane and Rollins and a bunch of ring crew comes out. The steel cage lowers from the top and Reigns is in the ring. He is able to fend off Kane and Rollins, leaving him and Orton inside a cage. Reigns throws Orton into the cage and sets up for a Spear. Seth Rollins flies and connects with a cross body from the top of the cage. Kane hits a chokeslam onto Reigns. Orton attacks Roman with a steel chair.

The rematch was all Randy Orton. It exposed how much of a lesser wrestler Roman Reigns is. He will be a star, no doubt, but Randy Orton is still too damn good in the ring. He is the most underrated wrestler in WWE. He is smooth, efficient and continues to hit on all cylinders. This beat down is only the best thing for Reigns. He is left all alone, which makes the return of Dean Ambrose even hotter. He is the knight in shining armor.

Plain and simple. Two hours of Raw were good. A whole hour of the show was bad. When you break it down by segment, you wonder why the hell WWE thinks 3 hours is a good idea when they have just enough for 2 hours.
