Sheamus defeated Bad News Barrett
Champion vs. Champion match on Smackdown was pretty entertaining. Sheamus and Barrett are like two heavyweights slugging it out. Sheamus and Barrett exchange blows until Sheamus hits 10 chops to his chest. Barrett ducks a Brogue Kick and hits Winds of Change. Sheamus kicks out at two and Barrett sets him up for Wasteland. Sheamus rolls through and hits a Brogue Kick for the win.
It looks like WWE thinks the United States Champion is more important than the Intercontinental Champion. It is hard to argue, since Sheamus and Cesaro is more intriguing than RVD vs. Barrett. We all know Bad News will win Sunday, but who wins between Sheamus and Cesaro?

Bray Wyatt defeated Jimmy Uso in a Last Man Standing Match
This type of match does not benefit Jimmy as much as it does for Bray. Both men struggle to get up after an 8 count late in the match. Jimmy Uso gets a knee to the chest and tossed to the outside. Bray barrels through Jimmy on the outside and grabs his neck. Bray gets a kick to the head from Jimmy and he is down. Jimmy hits him in the head with his backside, similar to his dad, and Bray barely gets up to make the count. Harper and Rowan attack Jey Uso, but Jimmy looks to finish Bray on the steps. He misses and rams his spine into the steps. He hits Sister Abigail on the outside and wins the match.
Credit to Jimmy Uso for putting on a great match with Bray. I really enjoyed this. You knew that Bray would win and I am glad there was not too much interference from the outside. Wyatt picks up the win and this is the perfect ending for Smackdown.

*Eight matches and only two of them were above average. The stories did not do anything more to intrigue the watchers to HAVE to buy Payback.
