Tonight is the 2014 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view, and Wrestlezone's Mike Killam and Josh Isenberg are here to give their predictions for one of the most exciting event of the year.
BROCK LESNAR vs. BIG SHOW
Isenberg: Who would have thought that 11 years after they open up Royal Rumble 2003 that they would be in a match once again? I sure did not, but this is going to be very interesting to watch. I think Lesnar and Show are both better now than they were over 10 years ago. Lesnar has cut weight and looks in the best shape of his career. If you have seen one Big Show match, you have seen them all. Fortunately, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar are a perfect fit in a storyline with Show right now. I care about this feud because it pits the "World's Largest Athlete" against a guy who is, in real life, a fighter. Brock Lesnar will win this match and the fans will get a pop for an F5 that we have been waiting for. WINNER: BROCK LESNAR
Killam: I think this is the first time I haven't been truly excited for a Brock Lesnar match. That probably includes his first run with the company, wherein he actually faced Big Show on several occasions. Remember that one time they broke the ring? I know WWE doesn't, but it was awesome. I sense no rhyme or reason, no method to their madness this time around. It started with Lesnar destroying Mark Henry – a guy who's already been on the shelf way too much recently, and would have delivered a much more interesting program in all honesty. Remember when Big E Langston was incredibly hot for like two weeks after he won the Intercontinental Championship? Given his partnership with Henry, Langston would have been a much better choice. He wouldn't have to win either. Big Show is going to lose, because Brock needs to look great going into WrestleMania. Why not give Big E the match of his career in the process. WINNER: BROCK LESNAR
