Big E Langston defeated Damien Sandow
Matt Striker and myself agreed on this past week's Chair Shot Reality that nobody really cares about this match. It is shameful because both guys are very talented in their characters and ring work. Big E Langston has more overall star power than a guy like Sandow because of his size. Sandow has the better character and gimmick, but where has that gotten him? The match was average because WWE did not give it enough time to build a back story and personal connection. Sandow took the early advantage and worked on the lower body of Langston. That makes sense and was a logical way for Sandow to get the upper hand. Langston fought back and really put a stamp on the match when he ran over Sandow in impressive fashion. The end comes when Langston hits the Big Ending for the victory. Langston will now move onto another opponent. Will he face someone that is a mid card guy, or someone who has already been world champion before? This title now has SO MUCH meaning to it. What will WWE do with it now?

The Most Entertaining Match of the Night
I sound like a broken record when talking about the WWE Tag Team Division recently. With champions who people care about, Cody Rhodes and Goldust retain in a Fatal Four Way. I love the connection they have with The Real Americans. I feel a sense of urgency from those guys because they know they need to be spot on with every move. Cesaro and Goldust work so well together. It is so smooth and an easy transition when hitting specific moves. Cody gets a hot tag and cleans house. The eliminations started when Ryback gets rolled up from behind. The Real Americans get eliminated next, which leaves us with Rey/Show and the champions. After a choke slam, Cody gets out of a 2 count. Rey sets up 619 and it looks like we will have new champions. Cody catches Rey and hits an Alabama Slam on him. We go back and forth until Rhodes is able to hit Cross Rhodes for the win. Thank GOD! If Rey and Show won, I would have been furious. They should not have even been in this match. Give me Jimmy and Jey. I was entertained from Rey and Show. I just do not see a long-term investment in them in this division. Instead, WWE does the right thing in keeping the titles on the waist of the Rhodes brothers. Well done and a match that had a little bit of everything. Hell, Goldust hit more high-flying moves than Mysterio. How the hell does he stay so good at this age?
