The Undercard
Bound For Glory Qualifying Match: Hernandez defeated Chavo Guerrero in a unique pairing of tag team partners. I love the BFG series because it gives so many unused guys the opportunity to be in semi-important matches for a long time. Hernandez going over was the right decision because he has more star appeal than Chavo. Hernandez has that big build and look that could really do some damage in the single's division. Oh wait, they already tried this huh? Nonethless, we got a decent match thanks to the technicality of Chavo and the sheer power of Hernandez. It was balancing each guy out throughout the match.

Bound For Glory Qualifiying Match: Samoa Joe defeated Robbie E. in a basic squash match. Robbie E was in the Bound For Glory series last year, but you knew that Samoa Joe would be involved this year. Joe takes control with the Muscle Buster and makes E tap out to his submission hold. Pretty simple match here with no real drama or intrigue.
Grade: C
Mickie James defeated Tayler Hendrix in more of a slower paced match than I expected. James and Hendrix apply some submission holds in the match, including simple armbars. Mickie James continues to toy with her opponents', as she fakes a knee injury and then attacks Hendrix. She then gets the victory. I love this character of James because she tries to be all good and nice, but she has an agenda. It is a very common character that most people know in day to day lives. It works for someone who has a large mental capacity to build her character slowly and with ease.

James Storm, Gunner, and Chris Sabin defeated Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, and Kenny King in a 6 man tag team match. I loved this match for a few reasons. I am always a fan of feuds that continue past a Pay Per View, especially since TNA has 4 months until their next one. There is no need to rush into another feud so quickly. I also like the two champions being able to fight off their opponents, picking up the victory, and looking much stronger. The match did not bury the heels, either. I love the action in the match and love the hot tag to Gunner. It is the small things that really tell the story in the match, and the finish came when Sabin hit the Fisherman's Suplex onto King for the win. We had all action, fast paced high flying moves, and a nice combination of submission holds. Well done, guys. I also think that Kenny King could be in for a character change. He needs more mic work, more realistic feuds, and a reason for fans to invest their time into him. His athleticism is excellent, but his character is too simplistic right now.
