Dolph Ziggler – One Step Down
Call this an overreaction if you must, but I find it insane that WWE Creative had nothing for Dolph Ziggler on last Monday’s edition of Raw. How much I would give to be a fly on the wall during that particular discussion last week.
“Okay, Dolph Ziggler – what do we want to do with him this week?”
“That’s tough.”
“I’ve got nothing.”
“If only he had something going for him, like a guaranteed World Title shot in the future, or a ‘Power Couple’ relationship with one of the company’s top women, or a bodyguard.”
“If he was a better wrestler, this would be easy.”
I don’t expect Creative to be perfect, especially all the time, but this is just unacceptable. And if you’re going to leave one of your most promising superstars off the card one week, at least spin it in your favor and pretend like you did it on purpose.
“Let’s leave Dolph Ziggler off the card this week. We’ll get fans asking ‘Why, why why!’ and stupid dirtsheet writers will go out of their way to call us imcompetent for doing so. It will get people talking about Dolph like never before!”
See! From zero to genius in 3.2 seconds flat.
