What I Liked:
This was the absolute perfect match to start off a big show. You highlight one of your top up and coming stars in Ziggler, who is at the prime of his athletic career. Whether you agreed or disagreed with Morrison in the match, he always puts on a good outing. Ziggler looked even more aggressive in this match than previous ones, and capatalized on the crowd’s backing, or negative reaction to Morrison. I loved the “We Want Ryder” chants throughout the Garden. Being there live, the crowd for Ryder was so huge that it became defeaning. I felt the match was given enough time, as well as having Ryder come out to get the loud pop and keep the crowd happy.
What I Disliked:
I really wished Ryder would have gotten a title match after, having Laurinitis make the right decision and really give the crowd what they want. It is NYC, Survivor Series, and in some of the most interesting times in professional wrestling. Have him win and screw Ziggler out of the title somehow, and if needed, have a substitute for Ziggler in his traditional SS match. The title off Ziggler pushes him as a main eventer, and also pushes Ryder into the most popular and important mid card talent they have.
