Turning Point
One Unproven Step Up
TNA's recent string of pay per views hasn't given me much reason to look forward to their next one, but for some reason, I am looking forward to Turning Point tonight.
When you look at the card, from top to bottom, all of them make sense and seem to fit.
Roode vs Styles should be a good technical match that is really only meant to be a small step to continue Roode's push as the new Champion. Styles is a believable fan favorite that can help get someone over by name alone these days. The Hardy/Jarrett match will be exactly what you'd probably expect – and fun for Hardy fans. RVD and Christopher Daniels is intriguing. I expect Ink Inc. to win the straps, so that adds a slight level of interest to that match. Velvet Sky and Gail Kim should at least be a "decent" match – by Knockout standards.
I'm even looking forward to Eric Young and Robbie E – another match in which I think the title will change hands.
I'll be posting a review of tonight's pay per view right here on WrestleZone tomorrow. There's a very good chance my writing will reflect disappointment yet again, but I have hope. Hope that tonight might be a "turning point" for TNA and the quality of their pay per views. Still, a high risk for $40+ dollars.
