#7. Miz/R-Truth
I'm putting these two together for obvious reasons. I feel they should be higher, but unfortunately, WWE hasn't allowed them that honor. Their return was rushed and much like Punk, I think Miz and Truth have a lost a bit of their momentum as a result. They have been going more the "goofy" route in some of their promos and backstage vignettes, rather than the rebellious, anti-authority route I thought we were going to see. I still rank them in the top ten because they are clearly a priority each and every week – especially now that they are heading into Survivor Series to work a match opposite Cena and Rock.
#6. Randy Orton
While I am ready for Orton to move away from Rhodes, I can't say that I haven't enjoyed their program. Orton truly IS one of the best today and it takes a guy like that to truly put over a guy like Cody Rhodes, who is still earning the respect of the WWE Universe. It doesn't seem like the Orton/Rhodes feud is over at this point and I honestly don't see that helping either men going forward, but for now, Orton is just outside my "Top 5".
