Mark Henry/Big Show
One GIANT Step Up
I have no problem with Big Show coming in and getting his immediate shot at revenge. And the title for that matter. That's the way of the world in pro wrestling. When someone takes another person out of action for an extended period of time, that person seeks revenge when they return. Plain and simple and I have no problem with it. Big Show leap-frogging over someone like Sheamus is okay right now as I still think WWE needs to continue building Sheamus further before they put him in that position again.
What I love most about all of this is how much further Big Show can help push Mark Henry. I understand that Big Show got the better of Mark Henry this week on Smackdown, but again – that's "Wrestling 101". Mark Henry needs to get his revenge next week and as long as he goes over clean a time or two against Big Show, I'm fine with it.
Honestly, I would have rather had Teddy Long make a non-title match with Show and Henry with the stipulation being if Show wins, "then" he gets his title match at Vengeance. Make both men look strong in the match and let Show get his win out of the way quickly. That way, when they are put on the pay per view stage(s), Henry can go over clean and continue on his way.
I like Big Show, but not in the place of Mark Henry right now. Big Show needs to do nothing more in this program than lay down (figuratively, people) for the Champ and make him look even stronger. The money is in the World's Strongest Man right now, not Big Show. Show has just enough credibility left in the tank to help give Henry an even further rub that I still think is needed for the WH Champion.
