Superstar of the Year:
This, much like Match of the Year, is definitely a difficult category, but there’s one name that sticks out in my head this year, and it’s Randy Orton. This guy is firing on all cylinders right now. He plays his character better than almost anyone in WWE, he is completely believable, and he works hard to detail his character every time he appears on screen. He has had some excellent matches this year, and kept the WWE Title fresh when others failed to do so. Additionally, Orton has helped put over talent like DiBiase, Rhodes and Kingston, which earns him more kudos in my opinion. Guys like Chris Jericho and CM Punk are definitely in the running and deserve nominations, but in the end I think 2009 was the year of Orton.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
