I have said it before that I didn’t like Sheamus being pushed as a top level guy so fast. I didn’t like that Sheamus won the title. After some time to think about it, I still don’t like any of it.
Now myself like many others, didn’t want to see Sheamus as the champion. He is the champ, so if the WWE is going to force us to have him as champion, then at least let me see more of this guy in the ring and TRY to convince me that he is the next big thing.
I thought this guy hardly fought when he was beating up jobbers, but he won the title and I have seen Hornswoggle more than Sheamus. I understand they are preserving Sheamus from being pinned or submitted, while at the same time not diminishing John Cena, but at least try and give some more time for the rematch on RAW.
Unless of course the WWE is afraid that Cena’s 6 moves along with the bicycle kick of Sheamus can’t fill 12 minutes.
Sheamus is fighting at almost every house show, a guy who is fighting a lot on the house shows and not so much on television, is on the ECW level. Funny, I think Sheamus was fighting on that show until they decided the fearless Celtic Warrior had to come to the flagship show.
Cena is winning via disqualifications and then going to flip coins at College football games, Sheamus is being a pale version of Batista, can we have a WWE champion please?
Hell, give the title to Bret Hart. Bret might only be able to fight for a few minutes but it couldn’t be any shorter than the matches that Sheamus is already doing.
Just to clarify for the Sheamus fan club who will rip me for saying give the title to Bret, it was a joke, much like Sheamus and his title run.
