The Passion Of The Vince; Radio, Radio

RADIO, RADIO

Pay no attention to the Jeff Jarrett nonsense on Bubba the Love Stooge’s radio show. The battle for control of TNA is an on-camera work, not a behind-the-scenes actuality. Remember: If you see it on TV, it’s a storyline, not a shoot. That rule holds 99.9 percent of the time and when it is broken, it’s broken for a brief instance, not extrapolated over time.

Whoever owns TNA controls TNA. Panda Energy owns TNA, so Bob Carter controls TNA. Bob Carter determines who’s in charge.

If somebody ever battles Dan Rooney for control of the Pittsburgh Steelers, or Roger Goodell for control of the NFL, then worked shoots like this will become a lot more believable. As always, logic applies. Perhaps the most maddening thing about booking is the refusal to create within the parameters of logic. Movies do it. TV does it. Why can’t wrestling?
