EXCLUSIVE: Getting Out The Mail Bag

Is CM Punk or Daniel Bryan strong enough to help Samoa Joe in? Would either of them be his sponsor? Can either risk their reputation for recommending someone who may not be right? No slight against Joe but no one knows which way the wind blows in the WWE from day-to-day from a creative perspective. Putting your neck out for the “wrong guy”? You know the rest… who needs the heat?

At this point in his career, is Samoa Joe interested in the soul-crushing experience that the WWE can offer? Sure, the cash is great but the schedule is a total monster. Plus you never know if you’re going to wind up in the “Witness Protection Program” like Kofi Kingston, who got buried on the way to his push because Randy Orton got a wild hair up his ass.

Is Samoa Joe physically ready for anything or is he wanting to pick what he does and when he does it? And who knows if he’s even leaving TNA? Does he follow the path of least resistance or most resistance?

I’d like to see Samoa Joe tear it up, get paid and be happy (I feel that way about everyone who wrestles for a living) but it’s virtually impossible to do all three in today’s pro wrestling.

So what does 2011 bring for Samoa Joe or anyone who has wrestling acumen, a veteran’s resume and is weighing options away from TNA?
