NXT Spring Breakin’ Week 2 Preview

WWE NXT Spring Breakin’ returns with its second week tonight on the USA Network. The television special emanates from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Five matches have been confirmed at the time of the writing.

Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe vs. Good Brothers

WWE aired a vignette of Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe at NXT Spring Breakin’ Week 1. They signed with the company through the NIL program, and have been active on NXT live events as well as NXT Level up.

WWE announced in the lead-up to Spring Breakin’ that the duo will take on the Good Brothers in tag team action. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are former two-time RAW Tag Team Champions.

Gallows, Anderson and Michin were drafted to SmackDown as part of the 2024 WWE Draft. Can Dupont and Igwe triumph in their NXT TV debut or will Gallows and Anderson show them the veteran toughness? We’ll find out at NXT’s spring extravaganza.

Thea Hail vs. Jacy Jayne at NXT Spring Breakin’

The feud between Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne has lingered on for months. Jayne manipulated Hail into questioning the Chase U ethos. Both women would eventually face off in a multi-woman match at NXT Stand & Deliver.

Team Hail’s win didn’t stop Jayne from verbally eviscerating Hail at NXT Spring Breakin’ Week 1. Can Thea Hail put away the former tag team specialist? Will Jacy Jayne’s experience favor her against the star pupil of Chase U?

Super Sonic Duo vs. Authors of Pain for the NXT Tag Team Championship

Axiom and Nathan Frazer finally won the tag team titles on the first NXT following Stand & Deliver. The duo were mercilessly attacked by the Authors of Pain. Akam and Rezar destroyed the tag team champions as Karrion Kross watched with a twisted smile on his face.

The Final Testament has done nothing but cause chaos since arriving in NXT. Can Axiom and Frazer survive Akam and Rezer? Will NXT Spring Breakin’ see the crowning of new tag team champions?

Oba Femi (c) vs. Ivar – NXT North American Championship

Oba Femi bested both Dijak and Josh Briggs at NXT Stand & Deliver. The Ruler came across a new opponent in Ivar on the April 9, 2024, episode of NXT. The Viking got the upper hand in their confrontation signaling his intention to fight Oba for his North American Championship.

Ivar would defeat Josh Briggs in a short but explosive match the following week on NXT. He’ll face Oba Femi for the North American Title at Spring Breakin’ Week 2 . Who will come out on top? We’ll find out tonight.

First ever NXT Women’s Underground Match at NXT Spring Breakin’

Natalya found a new naysayer in Lola Vice upon her return to NXT in March. The BOAT found a new ally in Karmen Petrovic as well. However, the animosity with Miss Vice only heated up in the meanwhile. Both women agreed to settle their differences in an NXT Underground match.

Lola Vice revealed Shayna Baszler as her training partner during the contract signing segment at NXT Spring Breaking’ Week 1. All hell broke loose as soon as Petrovic kicked Baszler. Natalya got the upper hand when she tossed Vice into the ringside crew.
