NXT superstars will be intently watching the 2024 WWE Draft. The White and Gold Brand is home to future WrestleMania main eventers and world champions. NXT currently boasts an impressive line-up of men and women with tremendous potential.
WWE reportedly has several NXT superstars in mind for main roster call up. The 2023 draft saw a number of superstars from developmental brand join RAW and SmackDown. Both Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis would be looking to grab the best NXT has to offer.
Pearce may not want to lose these NXT superstars to SmackDown at the 2024 WWE Draft.
The Family should join RAW at 2024 WWE Draft
Tony D’Angelo, Grayson Waller, Carmelo Hayes, and Bron Breakker worked NXT WarGames 2021 as Team 2.0. The four men sent Team Black & Gold packing at the December 5th PLE. Unlike his other three 2.0 team members, D’Angelo has yet to compete on the main roster.
This could change with the 2024 WWE Draft. D’Angelo possibly would’ve gone under some trashy gimmick change if it were the Vince McMahon regime, but times have changed. The Family could thrive on the main roster under the watchful eye of Triple H.
Why RAW? There’s no denying the red brand has some solid tag teams. DIY, Creed Brothers, Imperium all can stake claim at being the best inside the squared circle. The Family, however, can drive home a storyline with their gimmick. They deliver a fine blend of intensity and humor which could make for some compelling storylines on RAW.
Blair Davenport
Blair Davenport has been stuck in NXT for like two years now. She has yet to win a title on the brand. Her case seems awfully familiar to Grayson Waller; great TV presence, had many interesting feuds, but failed to beat the top guy for the title. It took an alliance with Austin Theory for Waller to finally win a title in WWE.
Blair Davenport needs to move away from NXT to reach that brass ring. She’s done a commendable job as a heel, but somehow always comes short of winning when it matters the most. A move to RAW would open a plethora of opportunities for the former Bea Priestley as well as put her across many new rivals.
Dijak
Dijak was one of my favorites from Triple H’s Black & Gold era of NXT. He had an awful run on the main roster as part of Retribution. You can blame Vince McMahon’s creative direction for that. He returned to NXT and has been, what’s the word… umm… “cooking” since.
From the Vengeance Day classic against Wes Lee at Vengeance Day 2023 to the brutal triple threat at Stand at Deliver 2024, Dijak has truly become NXT’s “Mr. PLE.” It’s a shame he hasn’t won a title yet.
His time needs to come at the 2024 WWE Draft.
Roxanne Perez
Roxanne Perez had one of the impressive rookie years in NXT history. She won the Women’s Breakout Tournament, the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship, Iron Survivor match, and the NXT Women’s Championship in a span of 20 months.
The Prodigy competed at the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble as well. She became a two-time NXT Women’s Champion at Stand & Deliver. Roxanne would, without a doubt, make a solid addition to the RAW roster at the 2024 WWE Draft.
Ilja Dragunov has worked RAW in the lead-up to 2024 WWE Draft
Ilja Dragunov made his main roster in-ring debut on RAW after WrestleMania. The Czar defeated former NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura after a hard-hitting match-up. Michael Cole told us Dragunov has declared for the WWE draft.
Dragunov has an impeccable aura and a commanding in-ring presence. Assuming SmackDown retains Bron Breakker at the 2024 WWE Draft, Dragunov joins RAW to set himself up for an inevitable feud with archrival Gunther.
