Tommaso Ciampa has had to deal with a lot of long-term injuries that have undoubtedly shortened his career. He’s openly stated that his Doctor told him he’s on borrowed time. Despite this, he returned from injury a lot sooner than expected and led the NXT team in the Men’s Elimination Match.
He did a great job and lasted for a long time, having interactions with some of WWE’s top superstars. Randy Orton is going to stick around for another 5 years at the very least, so a feud against Tommaso Ciampa seems quite realistic.
