Riho was presented as one of the new up-and-coming female superstars on the roster. Admittedly, the Women’s division is one place where AEW is lacking simply because WWE seems to have all the top female talent in the world. It makes it an uphill task for AEW but the way they’ve built and presented the young 21-year old Riho has been fantastic.
She’s a pleasure to watch in the ring and truly a stand-out talent. She was the right pick to become the inaugural Women’s Champion and has undoubtedly exceeded the expectations set for her. At just 21, she has a bright future ahead and if she can polish her English, she can be the centerpiece of the women’s division for years to come even as the roster grows and evolves.
