#2.) Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan was retired when the brand split began, but he was the General Manager of SmackDown Live. He had openly stated the fact that he wasn’t fond of the role, but even in a non-in-ring capacity, he was a very integral part of the storylines. In early 2018, he was officially cleared to wrestle again and he resigned as General Manager.

Bryan was also open to the fact that he has loyalty towards the blue brand and refused to go to RAW in 2018. He has since been on SmackDown, where he had the longest WWE title run of his career, surprisingly as a heel. While we don’t know whether he’ll switch to RAW in 2019 or not, he feels like a SmackDown star through and through.
