#1.) The Shield
The Shield were so impactful during their tenure that it’s easy to forget that they were only together for a good part of 1 and a half years. In that time, they established themselves as top dogs of WWE, but the company knew that all three had star potential individually, and they carefully crafted a time and place for that to happen.
That time happened to be June 2014 when Seth Rollins betrayed his Shield brothers by smacking them on the back with a steel chair. It was a shocking moment and propelled all three superstars into a singles run, with all of them being main eventers and World Championship-caliber performers.
