Edge & Christian were one of the tag team revolutionaries in the Attitude Era. Together, the real-life best friends garnered a whopping 7 tag team title reigns to their names. However, there was a time for an inevitable split and that would be as soon as 2001. Edge was getting a steady push and even won the King of the Ring tournament, which Christian was also a part of.
Not long after on RAW, Christian would attack Edge and they would face off for the Intercontinental Championship. Christian would beat Edge for the title and both would go on to have legendary careers filled with multiple World championships and other accolades.
