On the July 2nd episode of SmackDown Live, Kevin Owens seemingly turned babyface. A night after AJ Styles turned heel, WWE decided to do the opposite on SmackDown Live by turning a heel face. It was certainly an interesting change and a welcome one, because he actually felt like the central character of the show.

Either way, it was the right decision to make, despite the fact that Kevin Owens was very briefly a babyface when he returned from injury in 2019. In a more recent interview, Owens even stated that he wanted to try his hand in being a babyface and it seems as though his wish has come true.

Since Dolph Ziggler is his first opponent, we’re not going to include him in the list. Moreover, with all due respect to Ziggler and his veteran status, we do feel that there are far more exciting and fresh match-ups for Kevin Owens as a babyface.
