#4.) Seth Rollins vs John Cena – SummerSlam
Seth Rollins and John Cena were in the middle of a feud in the summer of 2015, with Cena having defeated Rollins in a United States title match despite having his nose broken by The Architect. It resulted in a title vs title match, where Seth Rollins put the WWE World title on the line against John Cena’s United States Championship.
Cena was in the midst of one of the great US title reigns and it would all come to a crashing halt at SummerSlam thanks to one of the unlikeliest names – Jon Stewart. Rollins and Cena did have a great match, but it was ultimately overshadowed by Stewart’s weird assistance, helping Rollins to retain his title and become a double champion in the process.
Cena would win the title back in the next PPV.
