Luke Harper has long been agreed on as one of, if not the most underutilized superstar in WWE in recent memory. Deceptively agile, he represents the evolution of wrestling, in that he’s extremely well-rounded for a “big man”. There have been multiple times during his run with WWE where you would think that he was on the verge of breaking out.
But as with many superstars, the office simply never viewed him as a main event player, and he has been constantly stuck in the same position for a long time. Not that he hasn’t found any championship success whatsoever, but in the minds of many, Harper is the kind of superstar who should be a main event player and should ideally be competing for the world championship, even if not winning it.
While not every superstar can (or should) be world champion, many believe that Harper should be competing on that level.
