Summerslam ’18 to WrestleMania 35 has been a very interesting period for Alexa Bliss. She had to deal with multiple concussions and was thus not cleared to compete for quite an extensive period of time. She competed at the Royal Rumble, but after that, didn’t really get back into the mix.
Whether it was a lack of plans or otherwise, Alexa Bliss hosted WrestleMania 35 and the night after, finally got back to in-ring action. Now that she seems to be 100% cleared to compete, it’s time for her to get right back in the fray where she belongs – in the main event level.
This wouldn’t necessarily mean that she has to win the title, but it would be good to play off her old rivalry with Becky Lynch circa 2016. It could also be redemption for Lynch, who lost her title to bliss in late 2016 and never won it back from her.
