Pete Dunne has been NXT UK Champion since May 21st 2017. By the time he arrives at New York for his match against WALTER, he’ll have completed a whopping 686 days with the NXT UK Championship. He’s been more than an incredible champion and was the right man to carry the title.
In fact, this also happens to be the longest title reign in modern WWE history, and all good things must come to an end. With the arrival of WALTER in NXT UK, his title reign has always had an impending sense of doom. For once, The Bruiserweight finds himself as the underdog, and the size difference may play too much of a role as his historic reign may very well come to a crashing halt.
