For the sixth time, the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal will be returning to WrestleMania. It’s been a tradition since 2014, and so far, the winners have been Cesaro, The Big Show, Baron Corbin, Mojo Rawley and Matt Hardy. It’s been an interesting selection of victors, but unfortunately, winning the battle royal doesn’t necessarily mean that they would be getting a major push.
For Hardy, it did somewhat work out, because he did win the RAW Tag Team titles the same month with Bray Wyatt. Even Cesaro got a bit of a push, but it would all fizzle out in no time. Either way, it’s WWE’s method of getting everyone they possibly can on the card, and it’s just the sad reality that not everyone can make it in a marquee match-up, and that the card is simply too stacked for that.
