#2.) Shane McMahon turning heel was the right call

When The Miz and Shane McMahon began their storyline, it was expected that The Miz would be the one turning, especially because he’s a natural heel. However, he’s actually found his stride as a babyface, showing a whole new side to himself in the “Best tag team in the world” storyline.

Moreover, given that Fastlane was at his hometown of Cleveland, he felt like a local hero. Shane McMahon was the one who shockingly turned heel, the first turn of his in over ten years. It’s a very refreshing change to the storyline and one that nobody really saw coming. WWE did a great job with the unpredictability aspect of the story.
