#2.) Triangle ladder match – WrestleMania 2000
People often confused WrestleMania 2000’s Triangle Ladder match to be TLC 1, but that wasn’t the case. This was the first major war between the three teams, and the Dudley Boyz defended the tag titles in what would turn out to be a groundbreaking match. While it’s easy to argue that they surpassed their effort one year later (and they did), this match truly set the groundwork for what was to come, and set the bar high for ladder matches.
There was no match like this in WWE before, and though it wasn’t the first ladder match by any means, it set a whole new standard.
