Shibata was making a defense of the RevPro British Heavyweight Champion against none other than Will Ospreay. Have you ever seen a match where two superstars look like they legitimately want to kill each other? As you’re probably aware, Shibata wasn’t what you can describe as a high-flying wrestler. This didn’t stop them from having incredible chemistry, as Shibata constantly grounded the high-flying Ospreay, while the challenger attacked Shibata’s knees.
Both competitors took a lot of risk, putting their bodies on the line and even taking punishment outside the ring. Ultimately, Shibata proved to be the superior competitor in an enthralling bout.
