In little time, Tommaso Ciampa found himself becoming the biggest heel in all of WWE. While there have been many heels in past generations who have been able to generate nuclear heat, the change in times and awareness about the inside workings of the wrestling business has left a lot left to desire when it comes to heels.
In this day and age, it’s hard to find heels who are unanimously despised by the audience. It’s become “cool” to cheer heels or many heels, for that matter, take the approach of trying to be cool rather than trying to be hated. Not Tommaso Ciampa, however. Since his heel turn, he was sidelined for many months and in that time, whenever he took to social media, he never broke character once.
He’s got an old-school approach about him. It’s no surprise when he’s been trained by the likes of Killer Kowalski and Harley Race. His appearance has only helped his cause. His time away so he get into incredible shape and by the time he was back, he became the complete package.
