#3.) Team Cena vs Team Authority – Survivor Series 2014
The stakes couldn’t have been higher in the Survivor Series 2014 main event. It was Team Cena vs Team Authority with the stipulation that if Team Cena won, the Authority would be ousted from power. Now, it’s very clear that Ziggler took Roman Reigns‘ spot due to his injury and even what happened after.
However, Ziggler was the beneficiary as he wound up being the sole survivor for team Cena. He would eliminate Luke Harper, Kane and finally Seth Rollins (thanks to Sting‘s help) to end the Authority. It was a feel-good moment and Ziggler looked like he was underway for a big push. But it wasn’t to be.
