#3.) Christian gave a ringing endorsement of McIntyre to Triple H
In August of 2011, Christian was unhappy as he was wrestling on Superstars instead of the main SmackDown show. He faced Drew McIntyre and determined to prove a point to WWE creative, both superstars gave everything they had in a fantastic match-up. After the match, Christian approached Triple H to tell him just how good Drew McIntyre was.
Triple H apparently agreed with Christian but revealed that he would have to have show-stealing performances like that every night against various opponents if he wanted to reach the top. While that’s not an unfair assessment, McIntyre wasn’t really provided with the opportunity to do so, and seemed destined to fail (in his first run, atleast).
