Little Mean Kathleen is thankful.
On February 2, LIVE Pro Wrestling will crown a new LIVE Pro Champion when Little Mean Kathleen, Anthony Greene, Love Doug, and Brett Ryan Gosselin compete in a four-way elimination match. Last September, the title was vacated by Teddy Goodz, who retired from wrestling after defeating Greene for the very title.
During a recent interview with WrestleZone’s Ella Jay, Little Mean Kathleen, also known as LMK, opened up about her experience teaming with Goodz across the northeast.
“Oh my gosh. I had a blast tagging with Ted,” LMK said. “I really didn’t know how it was going to go at first, but it went very well. It was so fun. I’ve learned so much. I got to do these crazy opportunities. I think we got to wrestle at Pax East. I’ve gotten to work Big Time a couple times as well, work with Matt Cardona in a match. I’m like, what the f***? This rules. Now he’s retired. He’ll be back. My estimate is under two years.”
With over 25 years of experience in the pro wrestling business, Goodz not only served as a partner to Little Mean Kathleen, but a mentor as well. When asked what’s learned from Goodz, LMK pointed to the power of assertiveness.
“[He’s taught me] definitely how to lobby to get what I want from someone, to stay on people, to kind of get things going instead of being like, ‘Okay.’ I definitely got some encouragement to do that,” LMK said. “So grateful for everything I’ve learned. It’s a blast working with him even now.”
