Dixie Carter Comments on IMPACT Wrestling’s 1000th Episode

IMPACT Wrestling recently taped its 1000th episode. Multiple talents made their return to the Nashville-based promotion to take part in the event. Recently, Dixie Carter commented on the monumental episode.

When anyone is talking about the legacy of IMPACT Wrestling one cannot be without mentioning Carter. She was one of the main reasons the Nashville-based promotion has been running successfully for over two decades.

IMPACT Wrestling was founded in the year 2002. The promotion’s initial president was none other than Dixie Carter. She was part of the promotion for fifteen years. She was with the company from the day it was founded to 2017.

The 1000th episode of the promotion was taped on September 9, 2023. The show will air on the 14th of this month. There are several stars who are set to return to the promotion. For the first time in over seven years, The Dudley Boys are set to reunite on the show. Wrestling veteran Angelina Love will also be part of the event along with Gail Kim.

Dixie Carter took to Twitter to comment on the history-making event. She mentioned that she is proud to be part of the event as well.

“1000 Episodes!!! So many wonderful talent back tonight for a very special show.
@IMPACTWRESTLING #proudmoment,” Dixie Carter tweeted.

Angelina Love Reflects On IMPACT Tenure

During a recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast, Angelina Love shared her experience in IMPACT Wrestling. She also wasn’t shy to express her excitement for the 1000th episode.

“But yeah, it’s really exciting (IMPACT 1000). Gail (Kim) and I trained together. I’ve literally known her since I was 19, probably 19, because her, Traci (Brooks) and I were doing (Scott) D’Amore’s BCW shows back in the day on the Ontario indies. We trained together in Toronto and then once we started the Knockouts division, I mean I was married to (Awesome) Kong for a very long time, as was Gail. So yeah, it’s really cool. I feel like it’s going to be very emotional, just with the nostalgia and the energy so I’m really looking forward to it… 1,000 episodes, that’s an incredible, incredible celebration and I’m so excited that we get to be there because it’s been a minute,” said Angelina Love. Love also revealed that she would be interested in taking up a non-wrestling role to train the young talent after she’s retired from in-ring competition.
