Last night on AEW Dynamite, MJF had a face-off against Samoa Joe. Following their segment on Wednesday night, the Salt of the Earth threatened to end Joe’s life.
The issue between Samoa Joe and Friedman started at the All Out pay-per-view. The self-proclaimed King of Television shoved MJF off as he was making his way to the ring. This infuriated the AEW World Champion who ran back to the ring to attack Joe. Given the fact that The Devil was already hurt from his match, Joe was able to easily take him out.
Last night on Dynamite, MJF and Joe had a heated segment. Max recalled the time when Joe shoved him during his entrance during an NXT Takeover Premium Live Event.
The Salt of the Earth also reminded fans about William Regal and how he fared in his WWE tryout. Joe then revealed that he would be taking part in the Grand Slam tournament. He also stated that he’ll be the one to win the entire thing and will challenge MJF for his world title.
As MJF was leaving, Joe hit a cheap shot and began to attack the World Champion. In the end, the Samoan Submission Machine stood tall holding the AEW title. Adam Cole ran out and demanded that the medical team show up and check on his friend.
Following the segment, MJF took to Twitter to send a warning to the former WWE NXT Champion. He mocked Joe’s catchphrase and stated that MJF was going to kill him.
“Max is gonna kill you,” MJF tweeted.
Samoa Joe is concerned about MJF
In the entire segment, the one thing that angered MJF the most was Samoa Joe calling him a kid. This led to Maxwell slapping the Samoan Submission Machine. That is probably another reason why Joe viciously attacked the AEW World Champion.
Following the assault, Joe went on Twitter to annoy MJF once again by calling him a kid.
“Man.. I hope that Kid is OK …,” Samoa Joe tweeted.
Samoa Joe will be facing Jeff Hardy this Friday on AEW Rampage in the quarterfinals of the Grandslam World Title Eliminator tournament.
