WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks spoke with Brian Fritz at the WWE 2K17 media event, and during the interview Banks talks her new, big year, her big match against Charlotte at SummerSlam, her friend Bayley coming to the main roster, being in the WWE 2K17 game and much more.
Banks talked the big year she has had as she’s gone from heading to Takeover Brooklyn last year the NXT Women’s Champion and now she’s heading into SummerSlam the WWE Women’s Champion. She says there’s no pressure facing Charlotte at SummerSlam, because it’s not about topping her match against Bayley, it’s about creating more history. She said she doesn’t like when people say “how can you top a match”, because it’s about creating magic with each match.
On working with Bayley at WWE Battleground, she says having her as her partner gave her “goosebumps” due to the crowd response Bayley got. On Bayley coming to the main roster, and them possibly being on different brands, Banks said they will have to Facetime each other a lot. She added she might have to kidnap her and bring her to Raw if she ends up on Smackdown.
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
