Is It FINALLY Time To Bring Him Back?

daniel bryanIs it time? You know, the time where WWE desperately tries to bring a veteran back to boost ratings? That time where they rely on The Rock or Brock Lesnar to peak interest from fans? Or, should WWE do more than just a Brock Lesnar return?

WWE will definitely bring Brock Lesnar back in the next month, but that is not all that needs to be done. The problem is from the bottom all the way up, with a crop of guys who would be incredible mid-card talent in the Attitude Era main-eventing Raw and Smackdown. This is not that era and this is a time where desperation cries for real star power. When you look back at the past five WrestleMania “main events,” you see similar traits.

Part time guys like The Rock, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker and Triple H have carried these grudge matches that look good on the marquee. But, little do we forget about one man who became a cult-like hero when nobody else was able to step up. That man was Daniel Bryan.

Is this the right time to bring back “The Yes Movement?” Well, the answer is in the title. Yes. We can question his health and we can question his durability, but WWE must take a chance on the man that MADE WrestleMania XXX worth watching. The only reason Brock/Undertaker was memorable had nothing to do with the actual “wrestling” in the match. It had to do with the last 3 seconds, not the previous 20 minutes. When you have very detached characters like Sheamus, Roman Reigns and others competing for a world championship, you need a hero. Daniel Bryan can be that hero. He can bring something back to the championship that has been missing since Seth Rollins was injured. He is likable.
