Today at the Ring of Honor "Honorcon" event in Philadelphia, a huge two-day event with New Japan Pro Wrestling – the biggest wrestling company outside of the United States – will take place this May.
The "Ring of Honor vs. New Japan" confrontation is scheduled to take place on May 10th at the company's annual Border Wars event, and again on May 17th in the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan, NY. The announcement was made on Saturday by Ring of Honor COO Joe Koff and former ROH star, trainer, and booker Delirious. New Japan's Chairman Naoki Sugabayashi was also on hand, with his translator Tiger Hatori, who helped break the news.
Ring of Honor also announced that they were in talks with toy and trading card companies for future products. Visit ROHWrestling.com for more information.
