The official website for WWE12 has posted several updates recently. Once again this year they will be offering a "Fan Axxess" pass, which grants the buyer all future DLC content for the game at a one-time price of $11.99 (960 Microsoft points). Along with the Axxess pass, the website officially announced the WWE Diva DLC package, available in December. The package will unlock Trish Stratus, Kharma, the Belle Twins, Vicke Guerrero, and Alicia Fox as playable characters.
We reported early that former WWE Superstar Batista will be a playable character in WWE12, however it appears that THQ currently has no plans to bring in Chris Jericho or Bret "the Hitman" Hart for the game, DLC or otherwise. No update as of now why they decided to leave the two stars, who are on great terms with the WWE, out of the game. With the announcement of Batista as an in-game character, as well as Brock Lesnar, Michael Cole, Jim Ross, Shawn Michaels, and the six Divas in the DLC package, there is still one pack of "DLC legends" left to be announced before the game's November 22nd launch.
There is also a large Q&A session up with THQ's Marcus Stephenson talking about the newly improved "WWE Universe" mode, and unveling the 23 championships that can be unlocked for use in the game (including the WCW Heavyweight title and the "winged" Heavyweight belt). You can read the article here.
