Eric Young of Team Canada is OK after taking the nasty bump where he had a huge bruise on his forehead during his match with America’s Most Wanted. The swelling had gone down as the night progressed and he actually had a bruise worse than that on the back of his head. He was given a lot of praise after the match as he continued to work and never complained about it.
Erik Watts has a torn trapezius and separated shoulder. He got the injury about one minute into his match with Raven but continued to work. He had his arm in a sling after the PPV.
Speaking of Watts, he denied any attempt at suicide this past weekend. Several friends of BILL Watts said he apologized for it getting out and he misinterpreted something said to him.
There were no injuries to Chris Sabin, Petey Williams, or AJ Styles in the Ultimate X match.
Bill Banks had a camera backstage at the PPV last night. He filmed everything he could so they can add it up an upcoming DVD.
Abyss and TNA agreed to a new deal on Tuesday.
We’re told that only three or four people knew about Abyss’ return to the PPV last night. One story making the rounds was that Jeremy Borash spent the morning hours editing off all the Abyss footage from promo’s and the video package.
There is talk among some that Vince Russo wants to start up a religious promotion where it’s a religious-themed event similar to what Ted DiBiase does.
