Mark Henry Says This WWE Call-Up Doesn’t Have A Weakness

Mark Henry backed a rising WWE star Blake Monroe ahead of her SmackDown run. He spoke about why he believes she will succeed. Monroe’s move to the main roster was confirmed last week on WWE SmackDown.

That moment came after her final match on NXT. Monroe competed in her last NXT match for the Women’s North American Championship. She faced Tatum Paxley in that bout. The match ended in a loss for Monroe.

Following the lost, WWE confirmed she will be joining SmackDown soon. That announcement created buzz around her debut. Mark Henry spoke about Monroe’s potential. He explained why he sees her succeeding on the main roster.

Mark Henry says Blake Monroe has what it takes to succeed

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry said Monroe stands out in many ways. He described her as someone everyone will enjoy working with. He said, “What’s even better about Blake Monroe, and I know this sounds so crazy, but she’s one of the boys. Everybody’s gonna love her. She is an old school, throwback wrestler. She’s funny and crass.”

“She said something in AEW in the training room one time, I turned I was like, ‘What did you say?’ She’s just got it. When you like people, you work harder for them and she works hard. You watch her matches and she’ll do anything and everything to succeed. And her wrestling skillset is that she can adapt to everybody’s stuff.”

He also highlighted her versatility as a key strength. He said she can do everything inside the ring. “She doesn’t have a weakness, and there’s very few wrestlers that can flip and fly, that can grapple, chain wrestle, that can swing them and punch and kick, that can do everything. She can do everything.” [H/T: wrestlingnews.co]

At the same time, WWE also confirmed another move. Ricky Saints is set to debut on SmackDown as well. The blue brand is adding new names quickly as Fatal Influence have already shaken things up on the brand.
