Oba Femi made another emphatic statement on the February 27 episode of SmackDown in Louisville — and this time, The Miz found himself on the receiving end of both a punchline and a powerbomb.
The segment began after a backstage scene with Nick Aldis informing Logan Paul he could earn an Elimination Chamber opportunity if he defeated Jacob Fatu later that night.
Shortly after, The Miz made his entrance, setting the stage for what quickly turned into less of a lesson and more of a laying-out.
Oba Femi Fires Back After The Miz Invokes The Undertaker
Before the match could begin, Miz grabbed a microphone and attempted to avoid a fight altogether. Framing the situation as a “teaching moment,” he compared Femi to himself two decades ago in developmental. The former WWE Champion then offered to mentor him, even suggesting he could be Femi’s “Undertaker,” claiming the legend once guided him.
Femi didn’t miss a beat. “I see no resemblance, but you do look like a DEAD MAN to me,” he shot back — a line that landed harder than a Tombstone tease.
Miz doubled down with his “Miz Method” pitch — Master, inspire, zone in — promising connections and crowd chants of “Oba!” The crowd obliged immediately, undercutting Miz’s sales pitch. When Femi floated the idea of joining forces as the “Awesome Rulers,” the response was lukewarm at best.
Moments later, the talking stopped. Miz tried to walk away under the guise of being the “bigger man,” but Femi grabbed his wrist. A desperate punch did nothing. A thunderous lariat did everything.
Femi sealed the deal with Fall From Grace for the pinfall victory in what amounted to a decisive statement win.
Now a Free Agent after relinquishing the NXT Championship in January 2026, Femi continues to build momentum. If Miz wanted to play Undertaker, he instead played victim — and Femi dug the grave.
